| Collex and its parent
company Vivendi Environnement have committed
resources and expertise to assist the
Australian Antarctic Division (AAD)
in the removal and remediation of former
waste sites in Antarctica. |
| |
| Collex and Vivendi
have donated 240 special purpose bins
for collecting waste in the unique harsh
weather and climatic conditions in Antarctica.
These bins will be used by the AAD to
collect and transport waste from the
former tip sites of Australia's Antarctic
bases and return it back to Australia
for disposal. |

students to gain some understanding
of the processes and resources required
to restore and protect a pristine
environment such as Antarctica through
the commitment of not only governments,
but also through the commitment of companies
to global citizenship. |
